About the product

A citrus-grassy opening from citronella and lemongrass leads into a cool minty heart, settling into a warm herbal base of thyme and lavender. This is a blend with a distinct character rather than a background scent, noticeable from the first drop and lingering in the room long after the diffuser switches off.

Six oils combined in ready-measured proportions, so there is no need to buy each one separately or guess how much of every oil to add to stop citronella from dominating the rest.

Composition

• Citronella - the leading grassy-citrus note, the most pronounced in the whole blend
• Lemongrass - a lemony sweetness that rounds off citronella's sharp edge
• Tea tree - a sharp, slightly camphor-like herbal accent
• Corn mint - a menthol coolness, most noticeable in the first minutes
• Lavender - a floral-herbal background that smooths out the whole composition
• Thyme - a warm, spicy base note

Pairs well with

Pairs well with eucalyptus, rosemary and cedarwood for a more woody direction, or with bergamot for a brighter citrus profile.

Purpose

For diffusers, nebulisers, fragrance burners and humidifiers. Works well on the terrace and in the sauna during summer. Once diluted in a carrier oil, it is also suitable for massage and skin care.

How to use

Diffuser: 3-5 drops per 100 ml of water.
Fragrance burner: 2-3 drops per bowl of water.
Sauna: a few drops in the water poured over the stones.
Massage and skin care: dilute to a 1-2% concentration, meaning 2-3 drops per 10 ml of carrier oil (almond, jojoba, grape seed).

Precautions

Undiluted, this oil is highly concentrated. Before using on skin for the first time, patch test a small area of the forearm and wait 24 hours. Do not apply to skin that will then be exposed to sunlight.

Keep out of reach of children. Avoid contact with eyes; if contact occurs, rinse thoroughly with water. Do not ingest. Not suitable for pregnant women or children under 6 years of age. Store tightly closed, away from heat and light.
