About the product

Ziółko Chamomile Flower Heads is a dried product made from the flower heads (inflorescences) of common chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla), one of the oldest and most recognisable herbs in European tradition. The tiny flowers, with white petals and a yellow centre, grow in meadows, fields and on roadsides throughout almost all of Poland.

Chamomile tea has a golden colour and a delicate, slightly apple-and-honey aroma and a mild flavour – it is a classic among homemade herbal teas. Dried chamomile flower heads are also traditionally used as a natural rinse for blonde hair, giving it a lighter shade.

Directions for use

Pour 200 ml of hot water over 1–2 teaspoons of the dried flowers, cover and leave to infuse for 5–10 minutes, then strain.
