Tickless Run Ultrasonic Tick Repellent - Blue

Tickless Run was developed with runners in mind. It is mounted to the laces of the shoe. It is ultra-lightweight, so it does not interfere with running. The device emits ultrasonic pulses at a frequency of 40 kHz. The pulses emitted by the device are completely harmless to humans and pets, but they block the tick's main sensory organ, the Haller's organ. Ticks use Haller's organ to target the host when the tick comes within range of the ultrasound emitted by Tickless.

Increased protection performance:

The increased supply voltage of the loudspeaker provides a higher amplitude of the ultrasound emitted by the loudspeaker, so the device has a larger effective area and the ultrasound emitted is harder to suppress. The effective area of protection is a radius of approximately 2.5m.

Rechargeable:

The Tickless Run has a built-in lithium-ion polymer battery. This is one of the most modern types of battery, which guarantees a large number of charging cycles (~300), little capacity loss and no memory effect. Charging takes place via the included micro USB cable. A fully charged device functions for up to approximately 20 days.

Night location:

In the device you can turn on the flashing LED, it will make you visible during night runs.

Improved attachment:

Tickless Run attaches to the shoe laces - the device is securely attached.

Tickless uses no toxic/chemical substances and is completely safe for humans (including pregnant women, young children, people with pacemakers, etc.) and pets.

Mounting

Make sure the battery is charged:

• before first use, charge the device for approximately 4 h
• Tickless Run/Active has an LED and a button, if the red LED flashes when the button is pressed - the device is working and charged. If the LED does not flash - the device is not working and needs to be recharged

Mounting:

Apply the device with the rubber ring to the shoelace/bag and pull the rubber strip under the shoelace pulling the rubber band over the groove on the other side of the device. Make sure the rubber ring is securely fitted in the groove for reattachment.
Do not cover the device.

Check the activity of the device periodically (the LED should blink visibly when the button is pressed).

Battery, use

Turning on

Press and hold the button for 2-3 seconds - one long blink of the red LED indicates that the device is switched on. The device remains active as long as the battery is charged. When the battery runs down, the device switches off - the device should then be recharged.

To check if the device is working

To check if the device is working press the button - 4 flashes of the red LED indicate that the device is active. If the red LED does not illuminate, this indicates that the battery is low and the device needs to be recharged. The device cannot be switched off (it works as long as the battery is charged).

Battery, charging

The device has a polymer lithium-ion rechargeable battery.

Battery:

• has no memory effect
• will last for approximately 300 charge cycles
• A fully charged battery will power the device for approximately 20 days.

To charge the device, connect it to the charger via the microUSB cable (included with the device, charger not included). When the battery is charging - the green LED on the device lights up. When the green LED goes out, this indicates that the battery is fully charged. It takes approximately 3 hours to fully charge a fully discharged battery.

Waterproof, dealing with getting wet/moist

Moisture does not damage the device (IP13) - however, direct contact with water should be avoided as the Tickless is not water resistant. If it gets damp or wet, leave the device to dry in a ventilated area (a mechanical air supply can aid the process).

Night location

Hold the button for approximately 3 seconds to activate the night locate function (fast flashing red LED) and approximately 3 seconds to deactivate this function.
