Olvita Cold-pressed Black Cumin Oil is 100% oil from unroasted Egyptian black cumin seeds (Nigella sativa) – cold-pressed and unrefined at the Olvita oil mill in Poland. Educational USP: Egyptian black cumin (and not just ordinary black cumin from Polish crops).

Amber-brown colour, distinctive, slightly pungent aroma and taste of black cumin – characteristic of fresh, unrefined oil from the Egyptian variety.

Usage

Oil for direct consumption or as a flavouring for cheeses, vegetables, salads, dips, sandwich spreads and cooked dishes (added after preparation). Due to its intense, pungent flavour, it is a good addition to Middle Eastern, Indian and Moroccan cuisine. Not suitable for frying – unrefined oil degrades at high temperatures. Vegan.

Directions for use

Recommended serving size: 1 teaspoon (4 g) per day. 250 ml bottle = approximately 58 servings of 4 g each. Drizzle over cheese, hummus or vegetables just before serving, or consume directly from a teaspoon. An ideal flavouring for Middle Eastern spreads and sauces.

Storage

Store in a dark, cool place. Once opened, close the bottle tightly and store in the fridge. The oil may become cloudy or solidify at low temperatures – this is a natural phenomenon and is fully reversible.
