Herbaria Banfi Caffeine Ginseng Rub moves beyond the simple herbal extracts used elsewhere in the Banfi range and adds ingredients more commonly found in facial skincare. Alongside ginseng root extract (Panax ginseng) and caffeine, the formula includes niacinamide, panthenol, allantoin and aloe juice.

It's the most extensive composition in the whole Banfi series, and the only rub in the line built with hydrolyzed keratin, an ingredient that conditions the hair fiber itself rather than just the scalp. The base is alcohol-based, so it absorbs quickly and needs no rinsing.

How to use

1. Apply the rub directly to the scalp - a pipette or a needle-free syringe makes this easiest.
2. Spread it with your fingertips across the scalp, section by section.
3. Massage the scalp for a few minutes.

The manufacturer recommends daily use for a month, followed by a week's break. The rub is not rinsed out.

Precautions

The formula contains alcohol - avoid contact with the eyes, and let irritated or broken scalp skin heal before use.
