Bilovit Tea Tree Essential Oil has a fresh, herbal scent with a medicinal edge over a woody, earthy base. Distinct and clean, it pairs well with mint and lemongrass in crisp blends for the home.

About the product

Tea tree smells fresh and herbal, with a characteristic medicinal note over a woody, earthy base. The aroma is strong, so a small amount goes a long way.

The oil is made by steam distillation of the leaves of the tea tree (Melaleuca alternifolia), a plant native to Australia.

Scent profile

Pairs well with

Rosewood, lemongrass, peppermint and niaouli.

Intended use

For scenting the home: ultrasonic diffuser, nebuliser, aroma burner and sauna. Suited to the bathroom, hallway and sauna, on its own or blended with mint.

How to use

Diffuser: 3-5 drops per 100 ml of water.
Nebuliser: follow the device instructions, no added water.
Aroma burner: 2-3 drops per portion of water in the bowl.
Sauna: a few drops per bucket of water used on the stones.

Start with fewer drops and add more if the scent is too weak. Ventilate the room after prolonged use.

Precautions

The oil is highly concentrated. Do not ingest. Avoid contact with the eyes and, if it occurs, rinse them with plenty of water. Avoid contact of the undiluted oil with the skin and, if it occurs, wash with soap and water.

Not suitable for pregnant or breastfeeding women. Keep out of the reach of children. Do not scent a room where small children or pets are present.

Store in a tightly closed container, away from fire, heat and light.
