Alpine SleepSoft Earplugs for Sleep

Alpine SleepSoft sleeping earplugs have very soft filters that stay comfortable even when you sleep on your side. They reduce noise by an average of 25 dB (SNR), while an alarm clock, a doorbell or a baby's cry remain audible. The Minigrip tip makes them easy to remove.

About the product

An average attenuation of 25 dB (SNR) quiets the sounds that keep you awake without cutting you off from your surroundings. AlpineAcousticFilters let louder signals through, so the earplugs suit parents and anyone who needs to hear an alarm clock.

The SleepSoft filters are soft, so they do not press when your head rests sideways on the pillow. The ventilation channel limits sweating of the ear when worn all night.

The AlpineThermoShape material is a thermoplastic developed by Alpine: warmed by the ear, it softens and adapts to the shape of the ear canal, so the earplug sits securely without a feeling of pressure. It contains no silicone. The Minigrip tip is a small, soft handle for removing the earplugs that does not get in the way during sleep. Country of origin: Netherlands.

No earplug silences sound completely, because the skull conducts vibrations to the inner ear regardless of a blocked ear canal. Very loud sounds, for example snoring above 95 dB, will remain audible, although noticeably quieter.

Indications

For people who struggle to fall asleep because of a partner's snoring or noise from the street or neighbours, and for sleeping in a hotel or on a campsite, or studying in a noisy place.

Directions for use

1. Pull the outer ear up and back, then insert the earplug into the ear canal with a gentle twisting motion.
2. Hold for a few seconds until the material adapts to the warmth of the ear.
3. In the morning, remove the earplugs by the Minigrip tip, wash them with lukewarm water and soap, dry them and store them in the case.

Warnings

Earplugs are inserted into the ear canal, so they are hygiene products. They are supplied in sealed packaging and cannot be returned once opened.
