Wellbear Cold-pressed Milk Thistle Oil is 100% milk thistle seed oil (Silybum marianum) – unrefined, unfiltered, cold-pressed in a Polish oil mill. Packaged in a darkened thick-glass bottle (a characteristic of unrefined oils).

It has a golden-yellow colour and a delicate, subtly nutty flavour and aroma typical of milk thistle seeds – easier to consume regularly than more distinctive oils (linseed, hemp). Free from preservatives and additives – once opened, the bottle remains fresh for up to a month in the fridge.

Usage

Oil for dishes served cold or after cooking: salads, smoothies, soups, grains, rice. The delicate nutty flavour complements most dishes. For hot dishes, add after preparation, on the plate. Not suitable for frying or baking – unrefined oil degrades at high temperatures. Vegan.

Directions for use

For adults: 1–2 teaspoons (4–8 g) per day – to be taken directly from a teaspoon or as an addition to cold dishes. Salads/soups: 1 tablespoon (12 g) per plate.

The oil is packaged in a darkened, thick-walled glass bottle – once opened, use within one month, keeping it in the fridge.

Storage

Once opened, store in the fridge and use within one month – 1000 ml of milk thistle oil oxidises quickly after opening when exposed to light, heat and air. Keep the bottle tightly closed.
